This privacy policy explains how Seemstech collects and uses personal data when you visit seemstech.com, contact us or become a client. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection law.

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What data we collect

• Contact form and email: your name, email address, phone number, company or website, the service you are interested in, your budget range and the content of your message.
• Client projects: contact and billing details, and any content or login details you share with us so we can deliver the work.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, which our hosting provider and security tools log to keep the website safe and working.
• Cookie choices: the consent you give or refuse in our cookie banner.

3. Why we use your data and our legal basis

• To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote (legitimate interest, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract).
• To deliver the services you have ordered and to invoice you (performance of a contract).
• To meet accounting and tax requirements (legal obligation).
• To keep the website secure and working (legitimate interest).
• To load external media such as Google Maps (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

We never sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision making or profiling.

4. How long we keep your data

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted after 24 months at the latest. Client and invoice records are kept for as long as Swedish accounting law requires, which is currently seven years. Your cookie choice is stored for 12 months.

5. Who we share data with

We only share data with trusted service providers that help us run the business, such as our web hosting provider (Hostinger), our email provider and our accounting software. They process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. If a provider stores data outside the EU/EEA, we make sure appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses are in place.

6. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed for the website to work, unless you choose to allow external media. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and our fonts are hosted on our own server. 7. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data, to have incorrect data corrected, to have your data deleted, to restrict or object to certain processing, to withdraw consent and to receive your data in a portable format.
